GenoTools v1 now on pip!

Check out the v1 (open release) of GenoTools, our end-to-end pipeline for genetic data generation, quality control and analysis. This is the engine that powers much of our work with the the Global Parkinson’s Genetics Project (GP2) and other related efforts conducting genetics at scale. Chips or sequences, GenoTools has got it covered.

Functionality highlights include …

  • Chip genotype cloud calling

  • QC/QA of genetics data

  • GWAS and inflation factor calculations

  • Deployable ML ancestry estimation models

  • Integration with a companion genetics GUI

… all with minimal coding needed.

This is foundational to a series of growing APIs and cloud microservices being developed at DataTecnica to accelerate research and decrease the activation energy facilitating efficient innovation.

Amazing work led by Dan Vitale, with strong collaborative efforts on open science applications from Kristin Levine, Hampton Leonard, Mary Makarious, Nicole Kuznetsov, Mat Koretsky and many others!
